On the 31st December 2010, all of the assets and liabilities of Bank of Scotland (Ireland) Limited transferred to Bank of Scotland plc through a merger and Bank of Scotland (Ireland) Limited ceased to exist.

Payment Protection Insurance

In February 2013, the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) instructed Bank of Scotland plc (the “Bank”) to undertake a review of certain Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) policies sold by Bank of Scotland Ireland (“BOSI”) during the period 1st July 2007 to 31st December 2010. The review was overseen by an independent third party and the CBI monitored progress.

The Bank has concluded its assessment of all PPI policies considered in scope and all affected customers have been contacted in relation to this. If you have received a letter from the Bank in relation to this, please contact Pepper Asset Servicing.
