Find your IBAN and BIC

Your IBAN is your International Bank Account Number and your BIC (also known as a SWIFT code) identifies the bank. You may need these to send and receive payments outside the UK, including the EU and EEA, where they’re used instead of your account number and sort code.

From August 2026, we're refreshing Business Internet Banking with new branding, an updated design and improved navigation. Over the next few weeks, you may see either the current layout or the new experience.

The guidance below will help you with both versions.

Log in to Business Internet Banking

  • To view your IBAN:

    1. Log onto Commercial Banking Online.
    2. Go to ‘Manage Payments’ and select ‘Bank Account Summary’. You’ll see a list of your accounts. ​
    3. Select ‘Manage Columns’ on the right-hand side.​
    4. Tick IBAN and select OK. You’ll see a new column with IBANs for all your accounts.​

    Tip: to save this change for next time, select Save view in the top right corner. You can then quickly return to this view by selecting it from the View menu.​

    You'll find your BIC or SWIFT on your bank statement. At the moment you can't view this in Commercial Banking Online.

  • You’ll find your IBAN and BIC on the first page of your paper statement.

    They’re in the top-right corner, just below your sort code and account number.
