Exchange rates

The table should be used as a guide only. Rates are updated once a day on business days. We use Visa rates and ECB rates which are subject to change.

Transactions in EEA currencies other than euro will be converted to euro first, then pounds sterling.

You can find the latest available Visa exchange rate here.

Fees for currency conversion

The comparison above uses the debit card standard non-sterling transaction fee of 2.75%.

Business Keycard

Our Business Keycard gives you direct access to your Business Current Account from cash machines worldwide.

  • Cash withdrawals abroad are charged a non-sterling transaction fee which is 2.75% of the transaction amount. This is a fee for currency conversion. You will also be charged a non-sterling cash transaction fee which is 1.5% of the transaction amount (minimum Ā£1.50). The non-sterling cash transaction fee is not applicable when you withdraw euro at an ATM or over the counter within the EEA or UK, or if you withdraw euro at an ATM outside the EEA or UK if the ATM operators payment service provider is based in the EEA or UK.

All LINK cash machines will give you an advance, on-screen warning about any charge that may apply. This warning will also tell you whoā€™s making the charge. You will then be given the option to continue or cancel the transaction.
