How we protect your business 

We use leading security technology and fraud prevention techniques to protect you and your money online.

  • Secure log in – by registering you’ll create a secure link between your mobile device and your Online Banking profile. You can then log in using fingerprints or face ID, or by using three digits from your memorable information.
  • Automatic log out – you can set up how long your mobile device stays inactive before it logs you out of our app.
  • Fraud detection – we monitor your account(s) for any unusual activity.
  • Account suspension – we’ll temporarily disable your account(s) after a number of incorrect logon attempts, in case fraudsters are trying to guess your details.
  • Fraud refunds – we do all that we can to protect your money. But you need to know how to avoid scams and fraud and protect your security details. You can find out more about fraud here. We’ll refund any payments that are made without your approval. You should tell us about the payment as soon as possible.  If you haven’t kept your security details safe or failed to tell us within 13 months, we may not refund you.

    You need to tell us right away if you believe you’ve sent a payment to a fraudster’s bank account. We can then investigate your claim to decide on a refund for any money you may have lost. Contact-us.
  • Confirmation of payee – When you add a new payee, we automatically check the payment details match our records to make sure you’re paying the right person or business. Learn more about confirmation of payee
