    Our secure, 3-step online registration process

    Step 1) Complete the secure, online application form

    Time: 5-10 minutes

    What you need to do:

    Complete the Business Internet Banking registration form, enter your details and choose a username and password (which you mustn’t share with anyone else).

    Please have your account number and sort code at hand.

    What happens next:

    When you click 'Confirm' a copy of your application form will automatically be generated which you will need to print, or, if you don’t have access to a printer, we can post it to you.

    Step 2) Print, sign and return the application form

    Time: up to 3 working days

    What you need to do:

    Please print and sign the application form in accordance with the instructions on the form. If you don’t have access to a printer, we can post it to you. Please post the form to the Freepost address given at the bottom of the form.

    What happens next:

    Once we have received and approved your signed application form, we will send you a welcome pack by post.

    Step 3) Receive your welcome pack in the post

    Time: up to 7 working days

    What you need to do:

    You will receive your welcome pack and card & card reader by post. Your registration for Business Internet Banking will now be complete and you will have everything you need to log on to Internet Banking for the first time.

  • How to log in to Internet Banking

    There are two methods of logging on to Internet Banking – using your card reader or memorable information. You’ll still need your card reader to make payments, set up recipients and for other transactions. Using memorable information is a safe and secure way to log in to Internet banking. Once set up you only need three characters to access your account making it quicker than using the card reader to log in.

    What is memorable information?

    Memorable information is a memorable word or phrase that you set up the first time you log onto Internet Banking.

    This allows you to log in without your card and card reader, making it even easier and more convenient to access your business accounts online whenever and wherever is convenient to you.

    When you log on in future you will be asked to enter your user ID, your password and you’ll then be given the option to use either your card reader or memorable information. If you choose memorable information you will be asked to enter three characters eg the second, fourth and eighth character. This allows you to log in without your card and card reader, making it even easier and more convenient to access your business accounts online whenever and wherever is convenient to you.

    Best of all it will also enable you to use our Business Mobile Banking app which requires just three characters from your memorable information to log in, making it even quicker to access your accounts on the go.

    What is a card reader?

    Card readers generate unique, one-time passcodes used to help identify you and to confirm some of your online banking activities, especially payments. We’ll prompt you each time you need to use it and simple on-screen instructions will always guide you through the steps to take. Your card reader holds no personal information about you and does not need to be connected to a computer.

SEPA Direct Debits cannot be managed using Online for Business. You will need to contact your creditor directly to inform them that you wish to cancel or transfer your SEPA Direct Debit mandate.
