Protecting your business from scams

We do all that we can to protect your money. But you need to know how to avoid scams and fraud and protect your security details. You can find out more about fraud here.

We’ll refund any payments that are made without your approval. You should tell us about the payment as soon as possible. If you haven’t kept your secu rity details safe or failed to tell us within 13 months, we may not refund you.

You need to tell us right away if you believe you’ve sent a payment to a fraudster’s bank account. We can then investigate your claim to decide on a refund for any money you may have lost.
