Building new energy efficient buildings


Commercial property developments
  

  • EPC A or BREEAM ‘Very Good’ in which case it must still achieve EPC B
     

Residential property development

 

  • Properties funded to have a minimum EPC B+ (SAP 84) with no fossil fuel heating or power, or minimum SAP 88 with a gas boiler. 
  • All units must be a minimum of EPC B.

Purchasing or refinancing existing energy efficient buildings


Available for small to medium size enterprises (SMEs) - single buildings must be EPC-A or EPC-B rated.
 

For multiple buildings:  
 

  • At least 75% of the annual rental income must be from EPC-A or EPC-B rated buildings.
     

This can be financed with our Buildings Transition Loan which offers a free arrangement fee discount.
